Ultimate S'mores Dip

I know I'm way late to be finally jumping on the s'mores train. But I've finally come around to making something s'mores themed, and it's pretty ULTIMATE! (hence the name). S'mores have had their day, and they are still going strong! I think this s'mores dip makes up for all the lost time. Ooey, gooey, melty, chocolatey, peanut buttery, caramel-y, and salty! Need I say more?

Salted Caramel Apples

Caramel Apples are such a classic fall treat. Every time I'm at the fair I always look for the caramel apples. The thick, chewy caramel contrasting with the tart green apples is a combination that just can't be beat. Sprinkle them with some sea salt and you're golden.

Muddy Buddy Bars

Most of us have a few recipes that we can pretty much make from memory, right? For me it's my chocolate cake,  chocolate chip cookies, and german pancakes. I should probably learn to cook some real food, shouldn't I? One of these days..

Roasted Balsamic Strawberries

Roasted Balsamic Strawberries take your ordinary strawberries up a notch, or ten.

This simple process will give you an extraordinary strawberry topping.

I can honestly say I've never had anything like Roasted Balsamic Strawberries before. But when I saw this recipe on Nerds and Nomsense knew I had to make it. Roasted Balsamic Strawberries. It sounds so fancy, doesn't it? Something for a sophisticated pallet, for sure. But, making it was a breeze, and eating it, well... too easy!

It's sweet, yet savory. It's tangy, and rich all at the same time. It's something else.

Peach Cobbler

Thick and gooey filling lies below a fluffy biscuit topping, and is baked to golden perfection.

Nothing says sweet summer like a peach cobbler.

Growing up, peach cobblers were my thing (read: thang).

S'mores Popcorn

How do you like your popcorn? Slathered in butter? Plain? Salted? Covered in Milk Duds? There are so many combinations to be had with popcorn! It's a little overwhelming really.

My mom told me about a friend's popcorn bar, and how one of her flavors was "S'mores Popcorn"... And that's all she wrote.

Blueberry Cobbler

I love how simple cobblers are.  An minimalist fruit filling, topped with a simple biscuit topping.   I don't think you can go wrong with cobbler.  Plus, there are tons of ways to switch it up! Nothing beats the warm and gooey filling with a light biscuit topping, paired with some ice cream. Summer is just asking for some!
