Hi there!

I’m a scientist who loves to bake, and here is where I document my adventures. Maybe you’ll learn a thing a two. Thanks for being here!

Sweet and Salty Feelings

Sweet and Salty Feelings

We're not always going to have a good story to tell. Sometimes a recipe is just a recipe.

We're not always going to be happy.

But that's what life is about: ups and downs.

You have to experience the downs to appreciate the ups.

Sometimes life doesn't go as planned. You hit a bump in the road. Sometimes your hopes get crushed. And sometimes, people will disappoint you.

Contrastingly, sometimes life does go as planned. And sometimes your expectations are exceeded, and you find people you can depend on.

We wouldn't be able to fully appreciate when those nice things happen unless we experienced disappointments as well.

Which is one of life's biggest lessons, one I find myself learning over and over again..

You have to experience the salty to enjoy the sweet.

That's why we all love sweet and salty things, isn't it?

It is.

One thing we can always count on: Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Let's get on with it!
